Why Miniature Golf Business

Mini golf is played by more than 130 million Americans annually, and the sector generates more than $1 billion in annual sales.

Additionally, Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Topgolf have ventured into miniature golf:

  • Woods is a partner in PopStroke, which offers golfers food and drink delivery to the course as well as scorekeeping via an app.
  • McIlroy and Drive Shack collaborated earlier this year on Puttery, a high-tech mini golf brand that debuted this summer in Dallas.
  • Topgolf, which has completed its merger with Callaway, recently added mini golf courses to a number of locations.
  • The twin brothers who launched Topgolf also co-owned Puttshack, which has three U.K. sites this year, with more opening up in Atlanta, Miami, and Chicago.

 Miniature golf is one of the only things I can think of that regardless of age, socioeconomic background or skill level, an 8-year-old can enjoy to the same extent as a 78-year-old
